Located near downtown Pittsburgh in Etna, PA, D & D Engineering, Inc. (D & D) is a long established organization with experience and skill in a wide range of electrical engineering areas. D & D serves as a subconsultant to engineering firms which do not maintain electrical expertise on staff, and as a consultant to industry, land developers, and municipalities.

D & D provides design and consulting services in various facets of electrical engineering, including architectural and institutional facility design and planning, water and wastewater facility design and planning, feasibility studies, energy management and usage studies, construction management and inspection services, and facilities operations and troubleshooting.

D & D has extensive computer capabilities which are utilized for all its daily operations. Project design software (typical electrical calculations), Autocad, Microstation, Visual Professional, Excel, Access, Word and WordPerfect are among the tools utilized.  Quality Control and Quality Assurance are an integral part of the operation of D & D such that projects are completed within the required scope, time and budget.

D & D is a certified WBE in Allegheny County, with the State of Pennsylvania, and with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Ms. Dailey heads the management and design teams for D & D Engineering, Inc., a firm she founded in 1994.  After graduating from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, she has gained nearly 34 years of experience in various sectors of the electrical engineering field.  Ms. Dailey's design experience encompasses both traditional power distribution system design and innovative integrations of control systems in building management systems, lighting control and integrated security/fire annunciation systems.  Her recent experience includes detailed design and management of projects encompassing the spectrum of electrical design for LEED certified, multi-story tenant office structure.  She has done extensive design work within the ALCOSAN and PWSA facilities and particularly the SCADA system area and other integrated functions.  In addition to her day to day design and managment work, Ms. Dailey is an active member in the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers.
